Private Yoga Sessions –  Frequently Asked Questions

What do I wear?

Comfortable, loose fitting clothing that allows for easy movement.

Do I need any prior yoga experience?

No, not at all. The majority of all one-on-one yoga patients have never done yoga before.

But I am so stiff. Will I be able to do the movements?

Yes, absolutely! We begin slowly, adapting all movements to what is right for you that day. This allows each person to learn at a pace that is appropriate for them.

Will I have to sit or lie on the floor?

No. Most students begin by sitting in a chair if that is what they prefer, and still receive all the benefits yoga has to offer.

What do I bring?

You do not need to bring anything. We provide everything needed for your yoga session.

Can my spouse or support person accompany me to class?

Absolutely! We welcome those that you love to join the session for your support. There is no extra charge, but please let Angela know if you plan on bringing a guest with you.

Will my religious beliefs interfere with my yoga practice?

Not at all. The yoga sessions are focused on health and healing and are not attached to any religious belief.

How will I remember what to do?

Angela provides each patient with a specific yoga training handout with easy-to-follow instructions to continue your practice at home.
